Australian Bushfire Relief

Autralia, its people, and its animals critically need our help! Since July 2019, thousands of fires have burned more than 46 million acres (72,00 square miles) of land. Fires have burned at least 80 percent of the Blue Mountains World Heritage area in New South Wales and 50+ percent of the Gondwana World Heritage Rainforrests in Queensland.

Over thiry people have lost their lives as a result of these bushfires since October 2019, and an estimated one billion animals have been killed. Several of the these animals are already endangered and risk complete extinction. It is estimated that one third of the Koala population has been killed since the fires began.

Charitably, through grantmaking, is supporting organizations with boots on the ground in Australia who are assisting in this critical releif effort.
